I’m delighted to announce the first company to participate in our new website sponsorship program.
Wolfden Resources (TSX-V: WLF) has made a new discovery of high-grade nickel-copper, that is leading them to the feeder system on a property near Snow Lake, Manitoba. We ended the bear market for gold in the middle of December 2015, as it gains strength it will bring other metals with it. Long-term supply and demand fundamentals for nickel and copper are bullish and high-grade discoveries are hard to come by, especially in well-known mining camps like Snow Lake, Manitoba. In addition to being high-grade, Wolfden’s 100% owned discovery also comes close to the surface which adds to the potential of the project.
The bullish scenario I see ahead for many commodities will rise many boats, but this time (yes, this time, it will be different) I don’t think as many stocks will go up as in the last bull market rally from 2001 to 2011. Investors will have to get better at picking stocks and with all that was learned from the last big rally will help make investors big and small better at allocating capital. So it is my game plan to cover fewer companies but will give them expanded coverage. Meaning as significant developments come along I will cover it, to make this successful I will need companies with strong news flow. Wolfden is in a place where they can do nearly year-round drilling, and fortunately because it is such a well-situated property, this isn’t remote, the drilling dollar goes a long way.
At the recent Roundup mining conference in Vancouver, Don Hoy and I had a chance to have a thorough chat, with their drill core and maps to help explain the drilling and how things look at depth from the drilling. I’m expecting to have the video of our chat prepared to go out within a few days. They say a picture tells a story, Don Hoy and the maps with the drill holes certainly tell an exciting story.
We started coverage of Wolfden when they announced drill results from their first phase of drilling in the Q4 2015. What caught my attention was the two zones they hit, one with significant grade and a lower zone that hit high-grade nickel-copper. They drilled additional holes and continued to hit the high-grade lower zone, it is now referred to as the New Lower Zone (NLZ). In these additional holes, that hit the NLZ, things got even better, as they follow the zone to depth, they keep hitting that sweet high-grade that I love to see in drill holes.
The really exciting part is that it looks like the drilling has brought them to the feeder system. Next up, they start focusing on the feeder system when they start drilling shortly from on the ice. They will try to understand more about this feeder system and its extensions. The geophysical work is showing very solid targets that will also be easily accessed from drilling on the ice this winter. In the video, you will see the drilling plotted at depth with the Main Zone and New Lower Zone clear to see as well as the feeder system.
The project is wide open for exploration, with an impressive early discovery, in a well-known mining camp, a strong team and a big high-grade system. They will have strong news flow, so I will have plenty to talk about, very shortly with the upcoming drilling on ice to chase the NLZ and other targets.
Now down to the business part. Those that have followed my reports over the years know I’m all about being clear. In order for me to cover companies more extensively takes more time and is more costly to produce. This is why I put together the new website sponsorship program, with the sponsorships I cover the costs of the added coverage and to produce my other reports for my readers and viewers at no cost.
To say this market has been challenging is an understatement, it has been extra tough to gain sponsors, but I confidently believe that as more companies learn what the program delivers in coverage and reach, more will come. I’m really pleased that Wolfden has given me the chance to showcase them and my new program because as the market gains strength, which I believe has started, they are the kind of company well positioned to gain a larger audience and a higher valuation as they deliver results.
I’ve made it public that my fee is $12,000.00 per year, due to Wolfden joining as the first company to try the new website sponsorship program, I’m giving them an introductory offer of $5,000.00 for one year. They are a small exploration company, who is early in the discovery cycle and on tight budgets. I’m more than happy to be able to make this offer to Wolfden and really launch the new website sponsorship program with a company that will have a lot of drilling news in 2016.
I’m not the only commentator that has website sponsors. What makes mine different, is that website sponsors don’t get to review or edit my written or video reports on them, they see the reports when everybody else does. This way, you will know that it is my opinion of what is happening, I read their news and present my views when there is significant news out. I think this takes confidence from the sponsor company in my reporting and their project.
I would like to thank the management of Wolfden for deciding to be a website sponsor of the Allan Barry Reports. Sponsors and consulting clients make my work possible. On behalf of my audience, thank you.
Whether I’m looking at a company to invest in, choose as one of my stock picks or a company I invite to be a website sponsor, they all have to pass through the same filter. Wolfden was one of my stock picks prior to becoming a website sponsor and passed the test on all counts for a junior exploration company.
The drilling is suggesting that they are onto something special, as they are now a participant in the new website sponsorship I will be helping my audience closely follow their developments.
My reports are for information purposes only, before making any investment decisions it is important to do your homework and speak with your financial advisors.
All the best,
Allan Barry Laboucan
